Inside the museum itself there are three Synagogues
which can be visited . The German Scola, the Italian Scola
and the Fano Scola which are still in operation.
The Italian Scola has a large hall which is currently used for cultural events. |
| The German scola is the most important
of the three Synagogues and is used on the occasion of the principal celebrations.
Its walls are decorated with stuccos attributed to Gaetano Davia , the
artist who decorated the Ferrara Civic Theatre.
The women's gallery has recently been restored. There is a display-case containing valuable and precious antique fabrics. |
